Summer Movie Nights is a free event where different movies are screened every week for eight weeks on a HUGE inflatable screen
The event is hosted by the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association and runs from July 3 to August 21, with screenings happening every Wednesday at sunset (around 8:00pm - 9:00pm). The event is accessible and intended for everyone. Did we mention that it’s free?
This year’s screenings will also include LED light-up swings, freshly popped popcorn, a gigantic Jenga set and different food trucks each week.
Last year’s screenings attracted 4,000+ people, and this year it’s expected to be even more popular. There will also be special activations per screening, like photo booths, red carpets and more than a few pop-up surprises. (VIAwesome)
